U.S. ambassador to Libya killed in rocket attack - September, 2012

US ambassador to Libya was killed yesterday in a well coordinated attack by Islamic radicals that he and his government empowered last year after turning the entire nation of Libya into a blood-soaked battle zone, resulting in the deaths of tens-of-thousands of innocent civilians.

Although I do not know the statistics, I'm pretty sure that millions of people died of various causes yesterday; but none of these deaths in my opinion were more deserving than the death of this reptilian representing the American empire in a post-Qaddafi Tripoli.

When we were children our parents sternly taught us that when we play with fire, we should expect to get burned. As it seems, no one has yet been able to teach Washingtonians that when they support/fund/encourage Islamic terrorism around the world (as they have been enthusiastically doing since the 1980s), they should also expect to get their heads cut off too once in a while.

I guess for senior policymakers in Washington, the geostrategic benefits brought upon by their support of "Al-Qaeda" type movements in certain areas of the world far outweighs the inherent risks.

Therefore, as far as Washingtonians are concerned, what's the big deal if some Americans get blown to bits once in a while - as long as the American empire remains a global hegemon?!
As far as Washingtonians are concerned, what's the big deal if America gets to suffer some real-estate damage and thousands of American civilians lose their lives, if such terrible carnage can be cleverly exploited towards long-term agendas? Aren't the terrible events of September 11, 2001 continuing to be used as a powerful excuse to implement a geostrategic agenda to remake the world in Washington's image, and of course earn, squander or steal trillions of dollars in the process?! The intense bloodletting we have been witnessing around the world during the past two decades is a long-term strategy to ensure that the Anglo-American-Zionist global order maintains its hegemonic power well into the twenty-first century -

To realize their neo-imperial dreams in strategic places like the Balkans, Middle East, Caucasus, Africa and Central Asia, they have been busy collaborating with radicals throughout the Islamic world to do their dirty work. Of course much of this type of activity gets carried-out covertly by Western intelligence operatives and through certain allied nations that maintain strong connections with radical Islamic groups. For instance, it is well known that Saudi Arabia is the most active proliferator of Islamic radicalism around the world. It is also well known that Saudi Arabia remains one of Washington's closest allies. Individuals like Saudi Prince Bandar Bin Sultan, one of Saudi Arabia's most influential officials with deep ties to both militant Islamic groups and Washington is essentially how Western intelligence operatives communicate and sometimes cooperate with Al-Qaeda type organizations around the world. Incidentally, Prince Bandar Bin Sultan was most likely assassinated by pro-Syrian operatives in Riyadh last August as a retaliation for the bombing that killed four high ranking officials in Damascus during the same month. Moreover, before its relations with Washington began souring in recent years, Pakistan's intelligence agency, the ISI, was also fully collaborating with American and Saudi intelligence by promoting Islamic radicalism in various theaters of operation. In fact, it seems very likely that Pakistani officials may have had direct ties with the 9/11 terrorists, most of whom as we already know were Saudi Arabians. The following are two excerpts from a previous blog entry that I'd like to revisit:
"Al-Qaeda" is the covert Islamic military wing of Western and Saudi Arabian intelligence services. I am referring to "Al-Qaeda" leadership and not the organization's limitless supply of illiterate foot-soldiers that work for them thinking they are doing Allah's work on earth. Those Islamists we hear about getting assassinated or blown up by Washington from time-to-time are more-or-less those that refuse to play the game. Of the Islamic groups genuinely targeted by the Western alliance, some may be splinter groups, some may be groups that have sprung up spontaneously and some may be groups supported by rival political interests.
By supporting the rise of Sunni Islamists in the region, the West is also planting within the region the very seeds of its eventual destruction. After all, when these socially primitive and politically dysfunctional Islamic powers get out of hand, as they tend to do at times, they will simply be bombed into submission. In this day in age, the wholesale killing of Muslims is not a major ethical dilemma for western society. Hollywood and the news press in the western world have been successful in dehumanizing Muslims in the eyes of western populations. Thus, the very seeds of "democracy" sown within the Middle East by Western powers today contain within them the very elements of the region's destruction at an opportune time in the future.
Due to their cultural backwardness and archaic mentalities, Islamic societies are easily manipulated and there are virtually limitless supplies of uneducated, unemployed and psychologically compromised Islamic youth waiting to be recruited by one warlord or another - or by one intelligence agency or another. Simply put, Islamic radicalism is a volatile yet convenient tool Western officials have been exploiting against their rivals for decades. And precisely due to its inherent volatility, dealing with Islamic radicals sometimes backfires. Ironically, the death of this "ambassador of democracy" in Libya came on a day when Americans were solemnly remembering the events of September 11, 2001, a terrible day when another group of Islamic terrorists with direct ties to intelligence agencies closely connected to Washington's allies targeted America, killing three thousand Americans. The following is my take on the events that forever changed the world -
Hundreds of millions of people today will agree with me that what happened yesterday in Tripoli was bad karma coming back to bite. Hundreds of millions of people today will agree with me that what happened was to be expected. Hundreds of millions of people today will agree with me that there is no need to feel bad about the deaths that occurred. I am one that profoundly believes in the sanctity of life. Having said that, however, I am not about to shed any tears over this death simply because the deceased had the blood of tens-of-thousands of Libyans on his hands for he was one of the key individuals responsible for the utter destruction of the Libyan nation. Fate would have it that he died in the hands of radical Islamists that he and his government empowered. Therefore, and as awful as it may sound, death for this man was well deserved. The following was what Mr. ambassador was up to before karma caught up with him -
It should also be mentioned that what occurred in Libya will prove to be a significant boost for Assad's regime in Syria. The anti-Assad propaganda that had been carefully cultivated by the West and its radical Islamic allies in the region for over year is about to collapse. Finally, yes, they did it again. Armenia is again on the list of countries posing a terrorist threat to Americans! See the Wall Street Journal article towards the bottom of this page. The following was reported from Washington -
"The embassies in Armenia, Burundi, Kuwait, Sudan, Tunisia and Zambia, along with the embassy in Egypt, which was hit by a protest on Tuesday, all issued warnings on Wednesday advising Americans to be particularly vigilant."
Apparently, Americans in places like Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Iraq, Georgia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Yemen, Algeria, Chad, Nigeria, etc. don't have any reasons to worry about their security. Yes, Americans in Armenia, like those in Egypt, Burundi, Kuwait, Sudan, Tunisia, Zambia, need to feel "particularly vigilant" because we Armenians are particularly very violent, we hate Americans; in fact many Americans have been assaulted or killed in Armenia previously and many terror groups operate in our country...

Folks, what we see here is Washington taunting Yerevan again because of Armenia's friendly relations with Iran and probably because CSTO troops are currently in Armenia carrying-out unprecedented military exercises (see article about the war games at the bottom of this page). By sending special operations troops to Armenia,
Moscow is in effect sending a strong message to Washington and its Zionist, Turkic and Islamic allies in the region that any encroachment in the Caucasus region by them, including an attack against Iran, will result in a direct and violent response by Russian forces. Needless to say, reptiles in Washington don't like any of this, but since they can't do kaka against Russia in the Caucasus, they are instead flexing their steroid laced muscles against Armenia.

Chris Stevens, U.S. ambassador to Libya killed in rocket attack, served as envoy during revolution

http://sfist.com/attachments/SFist_Jay/chris-stevens-ambassador.jpg

Chris Stevens, the U.S. ambassador to Libya killed along with three others in a rocket attack on the American Consulate in Benghazi was "a courageous and exemplary representative of the United States," President Barack Obama said in his initial statement Wednesday condemning the attack.

Initial reports said the slain embassy staffers—who also include foreign service information management officer Sean Smith—were trying to flee the consulate building that was under assault by protesters apparently angry over a film they say insults Prophet Muhammad. However, U.S. officials told The New York Times and CNN on Wednesday that the attack may have been planned by a group that "had either been waiting for an opportunity to exploit like the protests over the video or perhaps even generated the protests as a cover for their attack."

According to the Associated Press, a Libyan doctor who treated Stevens said the diplomat died of severe asphyxiation from smoke inhalation and that he tried for 90 minutes to revive him. Stevens, 52, is the sixth ambassador to die in an attack in U.S. history, according to CBS News, and first since 1988, when Arnold Raphel, U.S. ambassador to Pakistan, was killed in a plane crash there.

"Throughout the Libyan revolution, [Stevens] selflessly served our country and the Libyan people at our mission in Benghazi," Obama said. "As ambassador in Tripoli, he has supported Libya's transition to democracy. His legacy will endure wherever human beings reach for liberty and justice. I am profoundly grateful for his service to my administration, and deeply saddened by this loss."

Stevens, a California native and U.C.-Berkeley grad, was a 21-year veteran of foreign service, the White House said. "I had the privilege of swearing in Chris for his post in Libya only a few months ago," Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said in a separate statement. "He spoke eloquently about his passion for service, for diplomacy and for the Libyan people. This assignment was only the latest in his more than two decades of dedication to advancing closer ties with the people of the Middle East and North Africa.

"As the conflict in Libya unfolded, Chris was one of the first Americans on the ground in Benghazi," Clinton continued. "He risked his own life to lend the Libyan people a helping hand to build the foundation for a new, free nation. He spent every day since helping to finish the work that he started. Chris was committed to advancing America's values and interests, even when that meant putting himself in danger."

In response to the attack, the United States is "deploying elite Marine counterterrorism teams to Libya," Foreign Policy reports. The Pentagon is sending Fleet Anti-Terrorism Teams, or FAST teams, a U.S. defense official told the magazine. According to Reuters, the United States has evacuated all personnel from Benghazi to Tripoli. "It's especially tragic because Chris Stevens died in Benghazi because it is a city he fought to save," Obama said later Wednesday morning in hastily arranged public remarks in the Rose Garden of the White House.

Speaking at an impromptu press conference in Jacksonville, Fla., on Wednesday, Mitt Romney condemned Tuesday's attacks as "disgusting" and "outrageous," but he also attacked the Obama administration for standing by a statement issued by the U.S. Embassy in Cairo that he claimed was an "apology" for American values.

Late Tuesday, Romney issued a statement saying it was "disgraceful that the Obama administration's first response was not to condemn attacks on our diplomatic missions but to sympathize with those who waged the attacks." On Wednesday, he stood by his criticism of the White House. Meanwhile, a photograph purportedly showing Stevens' body was published online by several news outlets, including the New York Times, sparking an outcry from readers and a debate among editors. Here's Stevens' bio from the U.S. Embassy website:
Ambassador Chris Stevens considers himself fortunate to participate in this incredible period of change and hope for Libya. As the President's representative, his job is to develop a strong, mutually beneficial relationship between the United States and Libya. Ambassador Stevens was the American representative to the Transitional National Council in Benghazi during the revolution. When he's not meeting with government officials or foreign diplomats, you can find Ambassador Stevens meeting with Libyan academics, business people, and civil society activists, exploring Libya's rich archaeological sites, and enjoying Libya's varied cuisine. After several diplomatic assignments in the Middle East and North Africa, Ambassador Stevens understands and speaks Arabic and French. He likes the Facebook page of the U.S. Embassy in Tripoli and hopes you will, too.
"I had the honor to serve as the U.S. envoy to the Libyan opposition during the revolution," Stevens said in May in a video introducing himself to the Libyan people as the new U.S. ambassador there. "And I was thrilled to watch the Libyan people stand up and demand their rights.

"Growing up in California I didn't know much about the Arab world," Stevens continued. "I traveled to North Africa as a Peace Corps volunteer, worked as an English teacher in a town in the high Atlas mountains in Morocco for two years and quickly grew to love this part of the world. "We know Libya is still recovering from an intense period of conflict," he added. "There are many courageous Libyans who wear the scars of that battle."

US diplomats, Marine rescue team were also attacked at safe house, Libyans say

http://images.christianpost.com/full/55395/a-protester-reacts-as-the-u-s-consulate-in-benghazi-is-seen-in-flames-during-a-protest-by-an-armed-group-said-to-have-been-protesting-a-film-being-produced-in-the-united-states-sept-11-2012.jpg

U.S. troops dispatched by helicopter across the Libyan desert to rescue Ambassador Chris Stevens and other diplomats in Benghazi ran into a fierce overnight ambush that left a further two Americans dead, Libyan officials told Reuters. Accounts of the mayhem at the U.S. consulate, where the ambassador and another diplomat died after a chaotic protest over a film insulting to Islam, remain patchy. But two Libyan officials, including the commander of a security force that escorted the U.S. rescuers, said a later assault on a supposedly safe refuge for the diplomats appeared professionally executed.

Miscommunication that understated the number of American survivors awaiting rescue -- there were 37, nearly four times as many as the Libyan commander expected -- also meant survivors and rescuers found themselves short of transport to escape this second battle, delaying an eventual dawn break for the airport.

Capt. Fathi al-Obeidi, whose special operations unit was ordered by Libya's authorities to meet an eight-man U.S. Marine force at Benghazi airport, said that after his men and the Marines had found the American survivors who had evacuated the blazing consulate, the ostensibly secret location in an isolated villa came under an intense and highly accurate mortar barrage.

"I really believe that this attack was planned," he said, adding to suggestions by other Libyan officials that at least some of the hostility towards the Americans was the work of experienced combatants. "The accuracy with which the mortars hit us was too good for any regular revolutionaries."

Obeidi's Libya Shield Brigade was formed by civilians during last year's U.S.-backed uprising against Moammar Gadhafi and is now part of the ad hoc government militia forces which the fledgling democratic administration uses to keep order. The U.S. ambassador to Libya and three other Americans were killed after protesters angry over a film that ridiculed Islam's Prophet Muhammad stormed the U.S. consulate in the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi.

Other Libyan officials cited the possible involvement of former soldiers still loyal to Gadhafi's family or Islamist fighters, some of whom have trained and fought in Afghanistan. U.S. officials have noted it was "complex attack". Several Libyan officials and witnesses said an initial demonstration at the consulate appeared to be largely unarmed, though some elements of an Islamist militia were spotted. At some point, the crowd became incensed, believing they were under attack from within the consulate, many fetched weapons and the consular villa ended up in flames, with most of the Americans fleeing to the safe house after two, including Stevens, had been fatally injured.

'Raining down fire'

Of the eight American troops who had come from Tripoli, one was killed and two were wounded, Obeidi said. A Libyan deputy interior minister said a second American was also killed in the attack on the safe house. It was not clear if this was a diplomat or one of the consulate's original security detail. "It began to rain down on us," Obeidi told Reuters, describing the moment the attack began -- just as the Libyan security force was starting up the 10 pickup trucks and sedans they had brought to ferry the Americans to the airport.

"About six mortars fell directly on the path to the villa," he said. "During this firing, one of the marines whom I had brought with me was wounded and fell to the ground. "As I was dragging the wounded Marine to safety, some Marines who were located on the roof of the villa as snipers shouted and the rest of the Marines all hit the ground. "A mortar hit the side of the house. One of the Marines from the roof went flying and fell on top of us."

A senior U.S. diplomat -- not ambassador Stevens, who Libyan officials said died at a local hospital of the effects of smoke -- urged pushing ahead with the evacuation, Obeidi said. But he had a transport problem. Having been told to expect 10 Americans and having found 37, Obeidi did not have enough vehicles to break out, despite having one heavy anti-aircraft gun mounted on a pickup truck.

"I was being bombarded by calls from all over the country by Libyan government officials who wanted me to hurry and get them out," he said. "But I told them that we were in such difficult circumstances and that I needed more men and more cars."

Eventually dozens more vehicles were dispatched from pro-government militia brigades and, with the sun rising, the convoy headed back to the airport where an aircraft flew a first group of U.S. personnel out to the Libyan capital. Libyan Deputy Interior Minister Wanis al-Sharif said Stevens and another diplomat died in the first series of incidents around the consulate, while the other two Americans died during the attempt to evacuate from the safe house to the airport.

"(The ambassador) died as a result of suffocation by the fumes of the fire inside the embassy and one was also killed by gunfire before around 37 people were moved to a place we thought was safe," Sharif told Reuters in Benghazi.

Speaking of the rescue mission, he said: "A team of commandos arrived by air and went to a farm which we thought was a secret location. Once they got there, they came under heavy fire from heavy machineguns, rocket-propelled grenades and automatic rifles, which resulted in the death of two others." He estimated that a dozen or more Americans were hurt.

Revealed: inside story of US envoy's assassination

http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/02337/benghazi-libya-2_2337023b.jpg

The killings of the US ambassador to Libya and three of his staff were likely to have been the result of a serious and continuing security breach, The Independent can reveal. American officials believe the attack was planned, but Chris Stevens had been back in the country only a short while and the details of his visit to Benghazi, where he and his staff died, were meant to be confidential.

The US administration is now facing a crisis in Libya. Sensitive documents have gone missing from the consulate in Benghazi and the supposedly secret location of the "safe house" in the city, where the staff had retreated, came under sustained mortar attack. Other such refuges across the country are no longer deemed "safe". Some of the missing papers from the consulate are said to list names of Libyans who are working with Americans, putting them potentially at risk from extremist groups, while some of the other documents are said to relate to oil contracts.

According to senior diplomatic sources, the US State Department had credible information 48 hours before mobs charged the consulate in Benghazi, and the embassy in Cairo, that American missions may be targeted, but no warnings were given for diplomats to go on high alert and "lockdown", under which movement is severely restricted.

Mr Stevens had been on a visit to Germany, Austria and Sweden and had just returned to Libya when the Benghazi trip took place with the US embassy's security staff deciding that the trip could be undertaken safely. Eight Americans, some from the military, were wounded in the attack which claimed the lives of Mr Stevens, Sean Smith, an information officer, and two US Marines. All staff from Benghazi have now been moved to the capital, Tripoli, and those whose work is deemed to be non-essential may be flown out of Libya.

In the meantime a Marine Corps FAST Anti-Terrorism Reaction Team has already arrived in the country from a base in Spain and other personnel are believed to be on the way. Additional units have been put on standby to move to other states where their presence may be needed in the outbreak of anti-American fury triggered by publicity about a film which demeaned the Prophet Mohamed.

A mob of several hundred stormed the US embassy in the Yemeni capital Sanaa yesterday. Other missions which have been put on special alert include almost all those in the Middle East, as well as in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Armenia, Burundi and Zambia. Senior officials are increasingly convinced, however, that the ferocious nature of the Benghazi attack, in which rocket-propelled grenades were used, indicated it was not the result of spontaneous anger due to the video, called Innocence of Muslims. Patrick Kennedy, Under-Secretary at the State Department, said he was convinced the assault was planned due to its extensive nature and the proliferation of weapons.

There is growing belief that the attack was in revenge for the killing in a drone strike in Pakistan of Mohammed Hassan Qaed, an al-Qa'ida operative who was, as his nom-de-guerre Abu Yahya al-Libi suggests, from Libya, and timed for the anniversary of the 11 September attacks. Senator Bill Nelson, a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, said: "I am asking my colleagues on the committee to immediately investigate what role al-Qa'ida or its affiliates may have played in the attack and to take appropriate action."

According to security sources the consulate had been given a "health check" in preparation for any violence connected to the 9/11 anniversary. In the event, the perimeter was breached within 15 minutes of an angry crowd starting to attack it at around 10pm on Tuesday night. There was, according to witnesses, little defence put up by the 30 or more local guards meant to protect the staff. Ali Fetori, a 59-year-old accountant who lives near by, said: "The security people just all ran away and the people in charge were the young men with guns and bombs."

Wissam Buhmeid, the commander of the Tripoli government-sanctioned Libya's Shield Brigade, effectively a police force for Benghazi, maintained that it was anger over the Mohamed video which made the guards abandon their post. "There were definitely people from the security forces who let the attack happen because they were themselves offended by the film; they would absolutely put their loyalty to the Prophet over the consulate. The deaths are all nothing compared to insulting the Prophet."

Mr Stevens, it is believed, was left in the building by the rest of the staff after they failed to find him in dense smoke caused by a blaze which had engulfed the building. He was discovered lying unconscious by local people and taken to a hospital, the Benghazi Medical Centre, where, according to a doctor, Ziad Abu Ziad, he died from smoke inhalation.

An eight-strong American rescue team was sent from Tripoli and taken by troops under Captain Fathi al- Obeidi, of the February 17 Brigade, to the secret safe house to extract around 40 US staff. The building then came under fire from heavy weapons. "I don't know how they found the place to carry out the attack. It was planned, the accuracy with which the mortars hit us was too good for any ordinary revolutionaries," said Captain Obeidi. "It began to rain down on us, about six mortars fell directly on the path to the villa."

Libyan reinforcements eventually arrived, and the attack ended. News had arrived of Mr Stevens, and his body was picked up from the hospital and taken back to Tripoli with the other dead and the survivors. Mr Stevens' mother, Mary Commanday, spoke of her son yesterday. "He did love what he did, and he did a very good job with it. He could have done a lot of other things, but this was his passion. I have a hole in my heart," she said.

Lebanese report: US Ambassador raped before murder
http://assets.nydailynews.com/polopoly_fs/1.1158261!/img/httpImage/image.jpg_gen/derivatives/landscape_635/chris-stevens-death.jpg

The Lebanese news organization Tayyar.org is reporting that the murdered American ambassador to Libya, J. Christopher Stevens, was raped prior to his killing September 11, 2012. The Lebanese news report cited the Agence France-Presse (AFP) broke the story when given the information by an unnamed senior member of the Libyan Interior Ministry. Tayyar.com also reported via Google translation from the original Arabic, Ambassador Stevens:
"...was killed and representation of his body in a manner similar to what happened with Gaddafi, such as murder."
According to the BBC, when the former Libyan strongman Colonel Moammar Gaddafi was initially captured:
"Still images from an analysis of amateur video footage taken in the moments after Col Gaddafi's capture appear to show him being sodomised with a pole or knife."
The Washington Times has posted a video clip (left) reportedly originating from the Libyan Free Press confirming the sodomization of Ambassador Stevens prior to his murder.
As translated by The Washington Times, the Libyan reporter stated:
"Libya - USA Ambassador in Bengazi sodomized and killed by his own al-Qaeda puppets."
The Times also has posted an update stating that as of 3:35 AM EST today:
"The Lebanon report on the murdered U.S. ambassador in Libya, Christopher Stevens, remains unconfirmed by the AFP."

Russians Say Anti-U.S. Attack in Libya Vindicates Their Position

http://www.csmonitor.com/var/ezflow_site/storage/images/media/content/2012/0907-russia-putin-first-interview-new-term/13687652-1-eng-US/0907-russia-putin-first-interview-new-term_full_600.jpg

Russia has long argued that the West should not support popular uprisings against dictatorships in the Middle East lest Islamic fundamentalism take hold. Vladimir V. Putin, then serving as prime minister, was especially enraged last fall after an angry crowd killed his ally, Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi, an event he later condemned as a “repulsive, disgusting” scene.

Since then, Russia has blocked Western initiatives to force Syria’s president, Bashar al-Assad, from power despite a bloody crackdown on the opposition. Russians’ responses to the storming of the American Consulate in Benghazi underlined the deep policy divide. A prime-time news report pointedly juxtaposed images of Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens’s death with Colonel Qaddafi’s, pointing at their similarities, then cut to footage of Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton reacting to the Libyan leader’s death with a cursory “wow.”

Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Margelov said that passions had been stoked by the uprisings and that they “splash out in the form of terrorist acts or massacres of nonbelievers or an attack on embassies and consulates.”

“The frequency of these outbursts, unfortunately, has been growing since the ‘Arab Spring’ brought to power political groups of Islamic orientation, either open or indirect,” Mr. Margelov said, in comments to the Interfax news agency. A telegram from Foreign Minister Sergey V. Lavrov to Mrs. Clinton condemned the attack as a crime, and said “it confirms once again the necessity of combining the forces of our countries and the whole international community to fight with the evil of terrorism.”
But many commentators were far less diplomatic, especially on social media. The first commentaries on Twitter were bitingly sarcastic — “The democratized residents of Libya thanked the staff of the American Embassy for its support,” one read. Another read, “This is what you call exporting democracy, it seems. America gives Libya a revolution, and Libyans, in return, kill the ambassador.” Aleksei K. Pushkov, the head of Russia’s parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee, wrote via Twitter: “Under Qaddafi they didn’t kill diplomats. Obama and Clinton are in shock? What did they expect – ‘Democracy?’ Even bigger surprises await them in Syria.”

Yevgeny Y. Satanovsky, president of the Institute of the Middle East in Moscow, said American leaders should not expect “one word of sympathy” from their Russian counterparts. “It is a tragedy to the family of the poor ambassador, but his blood is on the hands of Hillary Clinton personally and Barack Obama personally,” Mr. Satanovsky said. He said Russian warnings against intervention in the Middle East came from the bitter experience of the Soviets in Afghanistan.

“You are the Soviet Union now, guys, and you pay the price,” he said. “You are trying to distribute democracy the way we tried to distribute socialism. You do it the Western way. They hate both.” He said dictators were preferable to the constellation of armed forces that emerges when they are unseated. “They lynched Qaddafi — do you really think they will be thankful to you?” he said. “They use stupid white people from a big rich and stupid country which they really hate.”

Russia’s case against American involvement in the Middle East dates from the post-Sept. 11 campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan. But it has been at the forefront of Russian discourse for at least a year, since Mr. Putin broke out of his role as prime minister and delivered a passionate criticism of the NATO bombing campaign in Libya, leaving the clear impression that he — unlike his predecessor — would have used Russia’s power in the United Nations to stop it.

Mr. Putin has dug his heels in on the issue of Syria, frustrating Western hopes that he could persuade Mr. Assad to leave his post voluntarily. Fyodor Lukyanov, a respected analyst and editor of Russia in Global Affairs, said violence like Tuesday’s had been at the heart of Russia’s warnings. He said Russia had formulated a “post-Communist position: If you try to impose anything on others, as the Soviet Union tried to do, the result will be the opposite, and disastrous.”

“This killing is just strengthening the views which are already quite widespread — that the Western approach to the Arab Spring is basically wrong,” Mr. Lukyanov said.

What's really going on in Cairo and Benghazi attack
http://timeglobalspin.files.wordpress.com/2012/09/aptopix-mideast-egypt-3.jpg?w=600&h=400&crop=1

Why didn't the US Marines use the necessary force to defend the Cairo and Benghazi diplomats? Something smells wrong about these narratives. Even after the Benghazi consulate came under "intense fire,"our Marines should have had the firepower and training to deal with the situation. Did the Obama State Department reduce the Marine forces to unacceptable levels? Were they ordered to stand down?

A more disturbing element that emerged today is the blatant Iranian "false flag" operation that accompanied the embassy violence. Ostensibly all this violence was caused by an obscure film produced in America by an Israeli racist. How artfully convenient. Here is a link to the AP/ New York Times article posted this morning about the film's producer. Read this carefully; it is high-grade Iranian / KGB disinformation and propaganda. How high grade? It was posted in the New York Times perfectly on schedule and perfectly hits every element of a classic anti -Semitic rant.
Speaking by phone Tuesday from an undisclosed location, writer and director Sam Bacile remained defiant, saying Islam is a cancer and that the 56-year-old intended his film to be a provocative political statement condemning the religion. "Islam is a cancer, period," he said repeatedly, his solemn voice thickly accented. The two-hour movie, "Innocence of Muslims," cost $5 million to make and was financed with the help of more than 100 Jewish donors, said Bacile, who wrote and directed it. Bacile's film was dubbed into Egyptian Arabic by someone he doesn't know, but he speaks enough Arabic to confirm that the translation is accurate.
A Jew in hiding, stupid racist rants, the movie financed by rich Jews, all published in the New York Times, so it must be true. Quite a coup, eh?

What is really going on here, besides trying to give Israel and the Jews another black eye? The embassy attacks were a well-planned, well-financed intelligence operation, going back many months, a trap set to spring on the 9/11 before our 2012 election. Three possibilities come to mind. One, this was a not-so-subtle warning to Obama not to allow Israel to launch a strike against Iran before the election. Two, the Iranians have more "incidents" ready to spring, so as to significantly hurt Obama's re-election. Three, this was a blunt message about Obama's and thus America's weakness, and Iranian strength, on the ground in the Middle East.

Is it any wonder that Obama could not find time to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu? Obviously the Iranian warnings were received and understood.

U.S. Embassies in 7 Countries Issue Warnings

http://www.abc.net.au/news/image/4256058-16x9-700x394.jpg

U.S. embassies in at least seven countries in the Middle East, Africa and the Caucuses are warning of possible anti-American protests following the attack on the consulate in Benghazi, Libya that killed the U.S. ambassador to Libya and three other Americans. The embassies in Armenia, Burundi, Kuwait, Sudan, Tunisia and Zambia, along with the embassy in Egypt, which was hit by a protest on Tuesday, all issued warnings on Wednesday advising Americans to be particularly vigilant. The warnings, posted on the embassies' websites, don't report any specific threat to Americans but note that demonstrations can become violent. The protest in Cairo and the attack in Benghazi appear to have been responses to an inflammatory anti-Muslim video posted on the Internet.

Prince Harry Targeted: Attackers in Afghanistan Wore US Uniforms

Coalition military authorities in Afghanistan say the insurgents who attacked a British airfield in southwestern Afghanistan on Friday, killing two U.S. Marines, wore U.S. Army uniforms and destroyed six Harrier fighter jets. They said in a statement Saturday that about 15 insurgents carried out the attack, describing the attack as well coordinated by insurgents who were "well equipped, trained and rehearsed." Fourteen of the 15 were killed. One was captured. They said attackers penetrated the base's perimeter and were armed with automatic rifles, rocket-propelled grenade launchers and suicide vests. Besides destroying six planes, they destroyed three refueling stations on the base and damaged six aircraft hangars. Coalition authorities have not yet identified the two Marines killed. Eight military members and one civilian contractor were also injured in the assault.

Iran Attack Could Spark Caucasus War and Economic Trouble
http://img40.imageshack.us/img40/8339/48541566.jpg

Russia’s Kavkaz-2012 strategic military training exercise later this month in the North Caucasus region may portend economic problems for the West. This is because the exercise is strategically linked to Russian expectations that Iran will be destabilized by the end of this year. If Iran is destabilized, Russia will uphold its obligations to Armenia under the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO). Russia could cut a military corridor through the center of Georgia, taking control of all oil and gas lines leading westward from the rich fields of the Caspian Sea. If this is combined with fighting in the Persian Gulf, energy prices may spike.

While some Russian training exercises have preceded major combat operations (Chechnya 1999, Georgia 2008), they are routinely conducted in order to test ongoing reforms. Kavkaz-2012 is the first major exercise to be held in Russia’s Southern Military District since December 2010, when Russia introduced fundamental changes to its Ministry of Defense and joint strategic commands. Georgian officials are protesting that the exercise is intended to influence their parliamentary elections on Oct. 1. Less than a month after Kavkaz-2008, Russian troops fought a five-day war in Georgia. Russia recognized the independence of two Georgian breakaway regions, Abkhazia and South Ossetia, immediately after that August 2008 war.

Russian officials insist that Kavkaz-2012 is a routine exercise, unrelated to events in other countries. They emphasize that the exercise will occur entirely on Russian territory and that they deliberately excluded units from Russian military bases in South Ossetia, Abkhazia, and Armenia. Armenia is a member of the CSTO along with Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and Tajikistan. In Armenia, from Sept. 3-8, the CSTO will hold its own Rapid Reaction exercise dubbed “Interaction-2012.”

According to Col.-Gen. Alexander Postnikov, deputy chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Interaction-2012 is entirely separate from Kavkaz-2012, despite the fact that they are being held barely a week apart on opposite sides of Georgia. During Interaction-2012, representatives from the International Committee of the Red Cross will participate in a CSTO exercise for the first time. According to Postnikov, their role will be to “work out issues related to humanitarian assistance in areas where, according to the plan of exercise, a conflict situation will appear.”

Russian officials anticipate that Iran’s nuclear program will be attacked by Israel or the United States prior to the end of 2012. Last winter, Russia evacuated civilians from its 102nd military base near the Turkish border in Armenia. Because it has poor relations with Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Georgia, Armenia depends upon Iran for energy and other basic supplies. Since Russia’s 2008 war with Georgia, Russia has supplied its 102nd base by air.

A sustained Israeli or American attack will lead to serious instability south of Armenia’s border. Armenian supplies likely will be cut, and Armenia may see an influx of refugees. Russian military officials doubt that a swift Israeli strike can eliminate Iran’s nuclear facilities.

An attack on Iran probably will be followed by provocations in areas disputed by Armenia and Azerbaijan. Since the early 1990s, the two countries have been engaged in a “frozen conflict” in the Nagorno-Karabakh region. The Azerbaijani government is increasingly aligned with both Israel and the United States, apprehensive about Moscow, and covetous of traditional Azeri territory in northern Iran along with Armenian-controlled territory to the west.

In the event of fighting in Iran or Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani refugees probably will move northward to Russia. In March, Russia moved over 20,000 troops to positions within 100 miles of its border with Azerbaijan.

In the event of instability in Iran, a Russian push to Armenia could be motivated partially by CSTO obligations, along with humanitarian concerns. Nevertheless, this would give Russia control of the Baku-Ceyhan energy corridor, bringing oil and gas from the Caspian region to the Turkish port of Ceyhan. Because Russia controls the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline, the West’s only other energy corridor from rich Caspian hydrocarbon fields, Russian control of nearly all Caspian energy, together with fighting in the Persian Gulf, could lead to unprecedented energy costs and economic instability in the West.

  2. No, I did not know that. I'll look into it. If what you say holds true, I guess I will have to make some changes to my commentary...

PS: What a sick world we live in.

  3. The story may be true. I deleted some of my comments and I posted a news report about it. Having still vivid memories of Qaddafi's horrible murder by Islamic thugs, this is all very surreal for me...

Dear reader,

New blog commentaries will henceforth be posted on an irregular basis. The comment board however will continue to be moderated on a regular basis. You are therefore welcome to post your comments and ideas.

I have come to see the Russian nation as the last front on earth against the scourges of Westernization, Americanization, Globalism, Zionism, Islamic extremism and pan-Turkism. I have also come to see Russia as the last hope humanity has for the preservation of classical western/European civilization, ethnic cultures, Apostolic Christianity and the concept of traditional nation-state. Needless to say, an alliance with Russia is Armenia's only hope for survival in a dangerous place like the south Caucasus. These sobering realizations compelled me to create this blog in 2010. This blog quickly became one of the very few voices in the vastness of Cyberia that dared to preach about the dangers of Globalism and the Anglo-American-Jewish alliance, and the only voice emphasizing the crucial importance of Armenia's close ties to the Russian nation. Today, no man and no political party is capable of driving a wedge between Armenia and Russia. Anglo-American-Jewish and Turkish agenda in Armenia will not succeed. I feel satisfied knowing that at least on a subatomic level I have had a hand in this outcome.

To limit clutter in the comments section, I kindly ask all participants of this blog to please keep comments coherent and strictly relevant to the featured topic of discussion. Moreover, please realize that when there are several "anonymous" visitors posting comments simultaneously, it becomes very confusing (not to mention annoying) trying to figure out who is who and who said what. Therefore, if you are here to engage in conversation, make an observation, express an idea or simply insult me, I ask you to at least use a moniker to identify yourself. Moreover, please appreciate the fact that I have put an enormous amount of information into this blog. In my opinion, most of my blog commentaries and articles, some going back ten-plus years, are in varying degrees relevant to this day and will remain so for a long time to come. Commentaries and articles found in this blog can therefore be revisited by longtime readers and new comers alike. I therefore ask the reader to treat this blog as a historical record and a depository of important information relating to Eurasian geopolitics, Russian-Armenian relations and humanity's historic fight against the evils of Globalism and Westernization.

Thank you as always for reading.
